Soledad O'Brien is an award-winning anchor and special correspondent for CNN. O’Brien’s documentary unit, "In America," has explored the complex issues of underreported communities in the groundbreaking series. These include "Latino in America" and "Black in America." O’Brien, the author of The Next Big Story: My Journey Through the Land of Possibilities and Latinos in America, has been on several major stories since she joined CNN in 2003, from Hurricane Katrina to the earthquake in Haiti.
