Farideh Farhi

An Independent Scholar at the Affiliate Graduate Faculty at University of Hawai'i-Manoa, Farhi is the author of States and Urban-Based Revolutions in Iran and Nicaragua. A recipient of grants from the U.S. Institute of Peace and Rockefeller Foundation. A former consultant for the World Bank and the International Crisis Group. She is a resident at the International Center for Journalists and the Iran Editorial Advisory Board at the American Foreign Policy Project. She is currently working at the Iran Study Group at the U.S. Institute of Peace. And sits on the advisory board at the National Iranian American Council.
