Rami Khouri, internationally syndicated political columnist and author, is Editor-At-Large of the Beirut-based Daily Star and Director of the Issam Fares Institute of Public policy and International Affairs at the American University of Beirut. He is in conversation with Shibley Telhami, Anwar Sadat Professor for Peace and Development at the University of Maryland, College Park, senior fellow at the Saban Center at the Brookings Institution, and the author of The Stakes: America and the Middle East.
